Pronounced Normal was Fischer's first collaboration with the production
duo of Barnes & Barnes (aka Bill Mumy and Robert Haimer), who also
supplied backing music and wrote or co-wrote several of the songs on the
album.

The album has a more structured feel than Wildmania, which is
largely attributable to the contributions of Mumy & Haimer, who would
prove to be the ideal producers for Larry.
