Line Following Robots


 
Size Matters is my first line following robot. He was designed to compete in the Chibots basic and advanced line following events.

 

Scanner


Scanner is my current project and a new idea for a line follower. The picture below shows some of the testing for the sensors. He is designed for basic line following only but with speed in mind.

Here is Red's Dream lending his brain to test the sensor for the project. The general idea for the robot is a wide sensor array that is read with only one input. See if you can guess how I have it planned, it's a little hard to tell from the picture. The robot will only use one motor and be a ackerman steering type robot.
