Day 4
Cobh, Rock of Cashel, Waterford, New Ross
Cobh (pronounced "Cove"), formerly known as Queenstown, is a deep sea port in the southwest of Ireland near Cork. It was the point of departure for many Irish emigrants. The Lusitania made its last stop here. The railway station has been converted to a museum, telling "The Queenstown Story". (Jeff drove one-way street the wrong way here.)
The Rock of Cashel is a monastic ruin atop a limestone outcropping in the plains of Tipperary.
