We left New Ross and headed north toward Dublin, travelling through the Wicklow Mountains.  We visited picturesque Avoca, where PBS show "Ballykissangel" is  filmed and home of Avoca Handweavers.  Then to Glendalough, monastic ruin in beautiful valley ('glen') of  two ('da') lakes ('lough'). Powerscourt is a formal garden and estate.  Our B&B was in Skerries, north of Dublin.
