Sentence Diagramming Guide: Section 7 - Direct Object

1. Start by drawing your core structure, but make the space for the verb twice as long as the verb is.
2. To the right of your verb, draw a perpendicular line that does not go through the line to the other side.
3. Write your direct object (D.O.) to the right of your new line.
